Latvian SSR. Salaspils Memorial Ensemble "The Road of Suffering" with symbolic concrete statues on the site of the WWII Nazi concentration camp outside the town of Salaspils. The memorial by sculptors Lev Bukovsky, Olegs Skarainis, Janis Zarins and architects Gunars Asaris, Oleg Zalamenny, Olgerts Ostenbergs and Ivars Strautmanis was unveiled in 1967.
