Russian Constitutional Court Chairman Valery Zorkin, centre, annonces the decision in St. Petersburg, Russia. The Russian Constitutional Court ruled on Thursday that the land swap agreement between Russia’s neighboring Rebublics of Chechnya and Ingushetia was in accordance with Russia’s Constitution. The deal was signed by the two subjects of Russia on September 26, and backed by the parliaments of both regions on October 4.
