Sergei Fokin, Deputy Head of the Russian Defense Ministry's Expedition Center and acting director of Russian Geographical Society's Undersea Research Center, onboard the U-Boat C-Explorer 3 submarine, submerging to the site where the Oleg Russian steam frigate sank on August 3, 1869, near Gogland Island. Together with the Russian Defence Ministry, the Russian Geographical Society's Undersea Research Center is carries out the Gogland underwater research expedition to search and study objects that had sunk in the waters near the Gulf of Finland's outer islands.
