St. Basil's Cathedral (Cathedral of Intercession of Theotokos on the Moat) erected on Red Square in 1555-1561 on the order of Ivan IV of Russia to commemorate the capture of Kazan. Architect Postnik Yakovlev from Pskov nicknamed Barma. Part of the State Historical Museum.
