A Tupolev Tu-160 supersonic variable-sweep strategic bomber and missile carrier, introduced in 1987, on display at the Gromov Flight Research Institute airfield during the MAKS-95 airspace show held from August 22 through August 27, 1995. The show featured 160 plus aircraft presented by over 400 companies, including around 100 foreign ones, from 23 countries, and was attended by more than 500,000 people.
