An S-300 air defense missile system on display at the UralExpoArms-2000 exhibition. The system, developed by NPO Almaz, was launched into mass production in 1975. The mission of the S-300 is to protect major industrial centers, government facilities and military bases against airspace attacks. The system is capable of intercepting cruise and ballistic missiles.
