Kronotsky Nature Reserve. It was established in 1934 in the area of 1.14 million hectares to protect the unique nature of the eastern part of the Kamchatka Peninsula and includes Lake Kronotskoye, 16 volcanoes, hot water springs (including the Valley of Geysers) and glaciers.
