On the marble slabs of the memorial in Timoshevsk you can see the names of those who died for freedom and independence of their Motherland during the Civil War (1918-1920) and during the Great Patriotic War (1941-1945). The family name "Stepanov" is written nine times. They were all the sons of the peasant woman Yepistinia Stepanova.
