Christ the Savior Cathedral in Moscow. It was built in 1837-1883 to a design by Konstantin Ton in commemoration of the Russian victory in the 1812 Patriotic War against Napoleon. The Cathedral was demolished in 1931-1932. Archive photo from the Museum of Moscow's History and Reconstruction.
