General of the Army Dmitry Lelyushenko (1901-1987), a Soviet military leader, twice Hero of the Soviet Union, Ph.D. in Military Science, fought in the Soviet-Finnish war of 1940. During the Great Patriotic War, commanded all-arms armies and a tank army.
