

During the crisis, 44% of the Russian users will not give up the Internet even if they do not have enough money for food and clothes. This is the conclusion of the study done by Rumetrika on the basis of information provided by Rambler TOP100, the Rampler search engine and its own on-line poll. "Providers should take this fact into account in changing prices. They should be aware of their social responsibility because the majority of users need the Internet," Rumetrika concluded. It noted that 25% of users are ready to give up the Internet if they do not have enough money for food. Nine percent of users are ready to renounce the Internet in favor of entertainment, three percent, in favor of clothes, and 19% are ready to give it up for no particular reason.
