The first ceremony of "Together with Russia" Award to the the intellectual elite of expat Russians set up by the International Council of Russian Compatriots. Writer Eduard Topol, left, was awarded a special prize of the Moscow government, and poet, playwright and author Naum Korzhavin, right, won the award in the nomination "For the Contribution to the Promotion of the Russian Language and Literature Abroad". Both the expats reside in the USA.
