The Charles de Gaulle exhibition at the Moscow-based State History Museum is dedicated to the memory of the greatest 20th century French statesman Charles de Gaulle [1890-1970]. The exhibition features 150 French items and State History Museum materials on the life of this outstanding French politician and his contribution to history. De Gaulle headed the struggle for France's liberation from Nazi occupation, subsequently founding the Fifth Republic [1959-1969] and becoming its President.
