Most Russian citizens would like to go on vacations to Russian health resorts but cannot afford this, according to a Russian Public Opinion center survey. Over the past two-three years, merely 14 percent of the polled visited spas in Russia while the overwhelming majority of the respondents (85%) stayed away from them. The main reason mentioned was lack of funds (68%), which is typical of residents of small towns and villages (73-76%) and of over-45-year-olds (74%).
