The Petrovsky Stopover Palace reopened after 10 year-long restoration. Designed by Matvei Kozakov, it was built on the order of Catherine the Great in 1776-1780 to commemorate Russia's victory in the war against Turkey, and was used as a residence by the court after the journey from St. Petersburg to Moscow. Today, it will become the Moscow Government's House for foreign delegations.
