Memorial “To Heroes Of Plevna” or memorial “To Grenadiers Fallen By Plevna” in the battle of November 28, 1877 for liberating Bulgaria from the Osman yoke during the Russian-Turkish war of 1877-1878. It was unveiled in 1887 in the park at Ilyinskie Gates in Moscow on the initiative of the Russian Archaeological Society and soldiers and officers of the Grenadier Corps. Architects - V.O.Sherwood and Engineer Colonel A.I.Lyashkin.
