The connection of the SP-1 shipping passage (main waterway) with dam D-3 was inaugurated today. It allows traffic to move along the entire complex of coastal engineering from the northern to the southern shores of the Gulf of Finland. St. Petersburg's complex of coastal engineering consists of 11 dams, six culverts and two shipping passages.
