Vandal-damaged memorial plaque (in the photo) commemorating Admiral Kolchak, an Arctic explorer and one of the leaders of the White Guard movement. It was unveiled last October 31 in Sadovnicheskaya Street, Moscow, in the yard of a chapel built several years ago on his own money by Russian traveler Fyodor Konyukhov to pay tribute to sailors, mountaineers and Arctic explorers who had died in the service of their country.
