These are Ilya Boyashov ("Armada"), Mikhail Yelizarov ("The Librarian"), Yelena Nekrasova ("Shchukinsk and Cities), Gherman Sadulayev ("The Pill"), Vladimir Sharov ("Be like Children") and Galina Shchekina ("The Pulp-Writer"). The name of the Russian Booker prize winner to receive $20,000 will become known on December 3, 2008.
