Nikolai Bobrinsky, geologist, writer, member of the Union of Russian Nobility Offspring--the Russian Nobility Assembly. A descendant of the Bobrinsky Counts who date back to Aleksei Bobrinsky, an extramarital son of Catherine the Great and Grigory Orlov. Nikolai Bobrinsky holds the portrait of his father Nikolai Bobrinsky, Ph.D., a Russian zoologist, Professor of the Tashkent and Moscow Universities.
