

The Civil war and foreign military intervention in Russia, 1917-1922. On June 17, 1920, while loading petroleum oil in the port of Batumi, the Lady Thea vessel (the renamed steamship Svet) set on fire. To prevent a disaster the Lady Thea was sunk by artillery of the British destroyer Swallow.
