Specialists of the Russian consumer rights watchdog (Rospotrebnadzor) and the Emergencies Ministry Department on Dagestan use mobile loud speakers to tell people about the need to observe the rules of personal care and drink only boiled or bottled water. About 600 people were taken to hospital in Makhachkala with symptoms of acute intestinal infection as a result of poisoning with bad water.
