Professor Yevgeny Abramyan (August 3, 1930 - December 23, 2014), an experimental physicist, Doctor of Technical Sciences, winner of the USSR State Prize, one of the founders of several new branches of the domestic nuclear engineering and head of research teams at the Institute for High Temperatures of the USSR Academy of Sciences.
