French Minister of the Interior Bernard Cazeneuve at a meeting of the National Assembly (lower house of parliament) which on July 19, 2016, passed a bill to extend the state of emergency for six more months pursuant to Law No. 55-385 (April 3, 1955), in view of the Nice terrorist attack on July 14, 2016.
