The monument to Catherine II and bronze figures of princes Grigory Potemkin-Tavrichesky and Vasily Dolgorukov-Krymsky at the Lit Art sculpture factory in Zhukovsky near Moscow before being sent to Crimea. The composition, which has been reconstrcucted based on surviving descriptions and photographs, will be placed at its original site in Simferopol's Central Park. The original monument was unveiled in 1890 to mark the 100th anniversary of Crimea's joining the Russian Empire. It was dismantled in May 1921.
