One of the historic Douglas DC-3 airplanes that arrived at Koltsovo airport of Yekaterinburg escorted by an Antonov 26 aircraft as part of the Alaska-Siberia 2015 project dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the Great Victory. The project aims to retrace the ALSIB Alaska-to-Siberia air route by a group of WWI-era airplanes that used to be shipped by the US to the Soviet Union as part of the Lend-Lease program.
