A Chinese air transport company has leased a MI-26TC helicopter from Russia for three years. The craft started its flight in a gala at the airfield of the Rosvertol Helicopter-Building Works in Rostov-on-Don, in European Russia's south. After arrival to its destination point in Harbin, the helicopter will have demonstration flights to be attended by top functionaries of China's Ministry of Forestry and Army Aviation, and commercial airlines bosses. Test Pilot 1st Rank Vladimir Maximov demonstrated his optimism before takeoff.
