The IL-76T DP, the world's largest fire aircraft, takes on board up to 44 metric tons of water to spray it over the area of 500 to 100 meters within 6 seconds. The Russian Emergencies Ministry has a number of such planes. Mass-produced at the Tashkent-based Chkalov Aircract-Building Amalgamation, or TAPO, they are also in the Air Forces of Russia, other CIS countries, Libya, Syria, Iraq and India.
