

The Yeliseyevsky store on Tverskaya Street in Moscow. It was built in the late 18th century upon the project by architect Matvei Kazakov. In 1824-1829, there lived Duchess Zinaida Volkonskaya, hostess of the literature and music salon, visited by Alexander Pushkin, Yevgeny Baratynsky, Pyotr Vyazemsky, Adam Mickiewicz. In 1898, merchant Grigory Yeliseyev bought the building and opened here the famous store in February 1901.
