Statues of Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson, by Russian sculptor Andrei Orlov, were unveiled on the British Embassy premises in Moscow for the 120th publication anniversary of "A Study in Scarlet", Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's first Sherlock Holmes story. Vasily Livanov, OBE and People's Actor of Russia, during the gala. Her Majesty Elizabeth II conferred the Order on him for the best-ever enactment of the great detective.
