

The Abramtsevo Historical, Artistic and Literary Museum-Reserve in the Sergiyev-Posad district of the Moscow region. The mansion. The village has been known since the 17th century. In 1843 Abramtsevo was purchased by writer Sergei Aksakov. During the 1870s-1900s it belonged to arts patron Savva Mamontov. After 1917 the estate was nationalized and turned into a museum.
