Moscow Kremlin. Verkhospassky Cathedral [Higher Cathedral of the Savior] was built in 1635-1636 by architects A. Konstantinov, B. Ogurtstov, L. Ushakov and T. Sharutin. Russian Tsars prayed there. It is part of the Terem [Chambers] Palace and is linked with the Palace's residential quarters by the so-called Verkhospasskaya Platform separated by a gilded iron grille. Hence its other name -- Savior Behind Gilded Grille.
