Buddhist monks carry out of the datsan the magic triangular cone "Zor" with a skull atop where they place evil spirits and spirits causing sufferings, diseases and premature death. It is burnt outside the monastery during the Dugzhooba (Cleansing Fire) ritual. In Chita datsan they began holding rituals of the festive cycle of Sagaalgan (White Month, Buddhist New Year).
