Anatoly Zak, owner of the Lame Horse nightclub, at a court hearing concerning the fire in the club. The fire broke out on December 5, 2009, during the club's anniversary party. On the night of the incident and in the following months 156 people died due to severe burns and poisoning by toxic combustion products. Approximately a hundred people were injured.
