People take part in a rally to support Moldovan opposition politician Alexandr Nesterovschi, whose sentence is to be announced later in the day, in Chisinau, Moldova. Nesterovschi himself says that the criminal case against him has been fabricated, while the trial was conducted in violation of procedural norms, with the use of false testimony and falsified documents. Nesterovschi is one of the leaders of the Revival Party, which is now part of the Victory bloc and advocates for cooperation and the development of dialogue with Russia.
