A meeting was scheduled between the foreign ministers of Russia, Syria, and Turkey to resolve the differences between Ankara and Damascus. However, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan later allowed for the possibility of Iran's inclusion in the high-level talks planned between Turkey, Russia, and Syria.
