A worker demolishes an old residential five-storey apartment building on Ryazansky Prospekt in Moscow, Russia. The Moscow Housing Renovation Program, which was approved in 2017, aims at renewing the housing stock and relocating Muscovites to comfortable newly-built apartment blocks. A total of 5,175 five-story apartment buildings have to be resettled and demolished. Since the beginning of 2023 more than 2,5 thousand residents of 11 old residential buildings began to move into new apartments.
