The French Supreme Court building in Paris where the case of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) managing director Christine Lagarde was heard. Ms. Largarde was found guilty in negligence trial after approving Bernard Tapie settlement as France's finance minister. Christine Lagarde is charged with abusing her authority when in 2008 a €404m payout was made to Bernard Tapie, a French tycoon and businessman close to former French president Nicolas Sarkozy.
