

Heinrich Bertling's dacha on Bolotnaya Street in Leningrad. On October 16, 1917, the building was the venue of a secret meeting of the Central Committee of the Russian Social Democratic Workers Party (Bolsheviks) that involved Vladimir Lenin. in 1921-967, the building accommodated an orphanage, and Vladimir Lenin's memorial room opened here in 1937. In 1998, it was converted into a memorial museum of the Vyborgskaya Storona (Vyborg Side) District, a subsidiary of the Great October Socialist Revolution Museum. A Historical Education Center for Children was also established here.
