

Vladimir Fortov, President of the Russian Academy of Sciences (right) returns the medal sold by US biologist James Watson, a 1962 Nobel Prize winner who discovered the double spiral of the DNA, during an open lecture in the Grand Hall of the Russian Academy of Sciences. The medal was bought at Christie's auction by philanthropist Alisher Usmanov to be returned to the owner.
